India is rapidly being compared to Israel in South Asia. Much like Zionists, the extremist Modi government is dreaming of a unified Hindu nation. To achieve this goal, India appears to have embraced an anti-Muslim agenda. Recent moves include the controversial Waqf Act, the demolition of mosques and madrasas, physical assaults, and even killings of Muslims — acts that have now become disturbingly frequent. Is India truly following Israel’s path in its campaign against Muslims?
In recent years, several Indian political leaders have openly spoken about forming a unified Hindu nation, one that includes parts of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Afghanistan. This vision stems from radical Hindutva ideology, primarily promoted by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Although the ruling BJP has never officially endorsed this ideology, its actions and the speeches of its leaders often reflect this ambition of building an “Akhand Bharat” or Undivided India.
Even without officially declaring it, the BJP government has taken significant steps toward creating an entirely Hindu nation. One such step is the recently passed Waqf Act in the Lok Sabha. Analysts argue that the true intent behind this law is to seize Muslim Waqf properties like mosques, madrasas, and cemeteries. Following the enactment of the law, more than 170 madrasas have been shut down in Uttarakhand alone within a matter of weeks.
Meanwhile, Muslims in India are routinely subjected to violence — often right in front of the authorities. A recent viral video on social media showed a Muslim woman being physically assaulted and having her hijab forcibly removed. During this year’s Holi festival, a Muslim man was beaten to death simply because he refused to be colored.
Instead of protecting its Muslim citizens, India’s law enforcement has been accused of actively targeting them. Reports of unlawful arrests, harassment, and warrantless raids on Muslim homes, mosques, and madrasas are increasingly common. India’s treatment of its Muslim population appears to closely mirror Israel’s brutal policies toward Palestinians. Under the guise of fighting terrorism, Israel continues to massacre civilians in Gaza with missile strikes and air raids — killing women and children almost daily. Those who come forward to help the people of Gaza are also being killed in cold blood.
What’s even more concerning is India’s apparent support for Israel’s ongoing genocide. While much of the world rallies for Palestine, pro-Israel marches are taking place on the streets of India. Not only that, Indian company Premier Explosives Limited is reportedly manufacturing weapons for Israel. On June 6 of last year, missile remnants found after an Israeli airstrike on Gaza’s Nuseirat refugee camp bore the label “Made in India.”
All things considered, it seems India and Israel have formed an alliance with a shared mission: Muslim suppression. Just as Israel seeks to establish a unified Jewish state by occupying all of Palestine and parts of Syria, India too is pursuing the creation of a unified Hindu nation by dominating its neighboring countries. As a result, many netizens are now calling India the “Israel of South Asia.”
